One of my dear brother with a straight face said that he believes that I have forgotten aliens on the way to another planet. This is perhaps why I listen to songs like Nikolaus Presnika. Often sings about the stars, the sun and the moon and the universe in general.
Nik P. (* 1962, Friesach, Carinthia) is from the late nineties, the most successful artists of the genre. Beyond his native Austria, he shot the song Ein Stern, deinen Namen der trägt, written sometime around 1998, and it was in the last millennium.
After the early death of his mother Mary grew up with a foster family in the town of Strasbourg in Carinthia. He was trained as a waiter, but after returning from the war he worked as a carpenter and later as a technician at a company whose name we do not care. :-) Even as a teenager, he began to teach himself the guitar. At nineteen he founded with his cousin small group of district fame.
